Benefits Of Attending This Art Therapy Workshop

  • Each workshop is centred on a theme to help us understand how our minds/emotions work. And guided by an experienced Art Therapist, you will explore this theme further with an art directive.

Increased self-awareness can help us understand more about what we need to work on and care for to help us achieve our goals in life.

  • We all need an outlet sometimes. Art is one way to express ourselves and it can be great for relieving stress! • Our workshop is designed to be like yoga for the mind, to help exercise our brain muscles, so we can build resiliency to help us manage any stressor that may come our way.

  • Sometimes words are just not enough to express ourselves fully, and art gives us that visual component to be with our feelings and thoughts.

Having this space to express ourselves can help us feel more validated and help build self-compassion.

  • As suggested by numerous studies, mindfulness is a great way to help with stress relief, anxiety, depression and even severe illness.

And engaging in art is a great way to practise mindfulness, as it engages both our mind and body to help bring us back to the present moment.
